Aka – TK’s Reef!

Before we get into the details of this amazing reef tank I want to give a huge shout out to the man himself as he is truly inspirational.
He has helped me out in the past and I’m sure if you follow his hints and tips he will help you out too!
So lets get into it…
TK’s reef tank has been set up since 20.06.17 and it has come a long way in such a short time. The tank itself is the same size as mine, 120L.
This is a great example of how two tanks (that are the same water volume) can look so different!
While we were talking about our tanks, TK stated;
“Being in this hobby has helped me cope with my mental health. Having PTSD and anxiety, having my hands in the water really calms me down hence why I give it so much love and attention”
Tip – “Be patient, test regularly, good husbandry and regular maintenance and most importantly, don’t be afraid to ask for help. There is a plethora of help out there from what I consider the most welcoming, loving community out there”
And lets face it, from the photo of the tank it is clear how much love goes into it, I mean it looks amazing. This hobby truly has many hidden benefits. 5 minutes in front of my tank after a hard day is all I need to calm down and it looks like its the same for TK!
As For the tip, please listen to this amazing reefer and follow it! The only stupid question is the one not asked!
